We Provide Alcohol and Drug Education

A CDM Assessment & Counseling of Guilford County Inc. knows that one of the main reasons people who suffer from substance abuse don’t seek help is the stigma surrounding substance abuse. A CDM Assessment & Counseling of Guilford County Inc is working hard to fight those stigmas by educating others about substance abuse. We believe that the more others know about alcohol and drug abuse, the more they will refrain from judging others who struggle with substance abuse. We also believe that the more they know, the better they will be able to notice the signs of substance abuse in their loved ones and get them care. And, of course, educating the community about substance abuse can help prevent future generations from struggling with substance abuse.

Alcohol Education

No one who has ever struggled with alcohol abuse has ever just decided that they wanted to deal with the consequences of drinking alcohol. Rather, people struggling with alcoholism often have a different underlying cause leading to alcohol abuse.

Drug Education

Like alcohol abuse, drug abuse has many different underlying causes. Even when individuals choose to use drugs for the first time, they are not choosing to be addicted to them or to struggle to get away from them. Whatever the cause of the addiction, those who struggle with drugs deserve treatment.
